At Signature Smithen, we ship from the UK to the United Kingdom and Northern Ireland, to Ireland and a selection of European destinations (Austria, Belgium, Croatia, Denmark, Finland, France, Germany, Italy, Netherlands, Portugal, Spain and Sweden), to selected international destinations (Australia, Hong Kong, Israel, Japan, Malaysia, New Zealand, Norway, Singapore, South Korea, Switzerland and the United Arab Emirates), and to the United States and Canada.

All orders are dispatched Monday to Friday. Delivery estimates begin once your order has been dispatched.

• United Kingdom — 1–3 business days. Free on orders of £6.00–£12.00; otherwise from £4.25.
• Northern Ireland — 3–5 business days. £7.50, free on orders over £30.00.
• Ireland and Europe — 5–8 business days. £7.50, with free shipping over £100.00. Germany: 3–4 business days via tracked DPD, £8.20, free over £100.00.
• Selected international destinations — £7.50, free on orders over £100.00. Delivery times vary by destination.
• United States and Canada — 7–12 business days via DHL International Economy. £30.00, free on orders over £100.00.

Import duty and taxes. For orders to Ireland, Europe and our selected international destinations, the shipping cost covers delivery only. Your order may be subject to local import duty, VAT or a customs handling fee, collected by the courier on delivery. These charges are set by your local customs authority, not by us.

Orders to the United States and Canada are shipped Delivered Duty Paid. Import duty, import tax and customs clearance are paid by us and included in the shipping cost, so there is nothing further to pay when your parcel arrives. Since the United States withdrew its duty-free allowance for low-value parcels in August 2025, every parcel entering the US is assessed for duty regardless of its value — we cover that charge rather than passing it on to you.

International shipments may occasionally be subject to customs processing delays outside our control. All delivery times are estimates and are not guaranteed.

We hope you love your order. This policy applies wherever we ship: the UK, Ireland, our European destinations, the USA and Canada. It does not affect your statutory rights.

Change of mind: 14 days

You can return unopened items within 14 days of delivery. Bottles and samples must be unopened, with the seal intact, unused and in their original packaging. Please have your order number or proof of purchase ready.

Fragrance is hygiene-sensitive, so opened or used bottles and samples can't be returned for a change of mind. Made-to-order and personalised items can't be returned.

Faulty, damaged or wrong items

Please check your order when it arrives. If an item is faulty, damaged, not as described or not what you ordered, contact us as soon as possible and we'll put it right. We cover the cost of returning these items.

How to return

Email info@signaturesmithen.com within 14 days of delivery with your order number to register your return. We'll reply with the return address and instructions. Pack the item securely and keep proof of postage.

For change-of-mind returns, you pay the cost of sending the item back. We recommend a tracked service.

Refunds

Once we've received and checked your return, we'll refund you to your original payment method within 10 business days. Your bank or card provider may take a few extra days to show it.

Exchanges

We don't offer direct exchanges. Return the item and place a new order for the one you want.
